The MiW gGmbH has been providing support for people with intellectual disabilities in various projects in Berlin Marzahn - Hellersdorf for over 20 years.


We are currently seeking a qualified individual with a university degree to lead and coordinate our three residential communities for adults with intellectual disabilities.

This individual will support, guide, and coordinate a team of 6 full-time employees, including special education teachers, educators, and social workers, through their experience in both care and staff management.

The main focus of the daily work will be on:


Staff management:

  • Conducting educational consultations with the team
  • Administrative tasks related to care
  • Planning, organizing, implementing, and monitoring work processes
  • Knowledge of creating development goals and their implementation and billing in accordance with the HMBW procedure / ICF
  • Smooth and uncomplicated communication with authorities, offices, and various committees
  • Quality development and concept development
And


Daily care work:

  • Individual support and development of skills and abilities, taking into account the resources of the residents and supporting selfdetermined living in accordance with the BTHG
  • Designing and documenting comprehensive and planned care for the residents
  • Taking on responsibility within the framework of individual care
  • Collaboration with family members, legal guardians, and other helpers, as well as accompanying them to relevant appointments
  • Participation in the design of individual support plans and creating development reports
  • Managing and organizing internal documentation
  • Accompanying and implementing medical and therapeutic measures
