    Overview

    Hey there! At Houston Methodist, we are looking for a Market Research Analyst. This role involves tracking brand imagery and marketplace performance, sharing results with the marketing team and wider HM organization, and answering any business questions that pop up. The Analyst also manages information services operations for Corporate Marketing and the Contact Center. Additionally, they handle local and national consumer and physician mailings and act as the main point of contact for specific internal clients.

    Responsibilities

    PEOPLE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Work collaboratively with hospital leadership, marketing, and finance to gather data for marketplace analysis
    • Produce and deliver comprehensive analyses to clients in partnership with the market research team

    SERVICE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Assist in overseeing market analysis for all Houston Methodist hospitals, including demographics, volumes, market share, and more
    • Design and implement reporting to support department objectives
    • Stay updated on the local and national healthcare landscape to assess impacts on HM hospitals
    • Present market analysis findings to leadership

    QUALITY/SAFETY ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Compile and interpret marketing, web, and financial data for reporting
    • Ensure database integrity and translate data into actionable insights

    FINANCE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Coordinate and analyze consumer and physicians mailings
    • Oversee information technology systems for Corporate Marketing operations

    GROWTH/INNOVATION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

    • Utilize data for marketing plans and measure success
    • Explore new research techniques for key business questions

    This role involves much more than just these duties, as the employee will be assigned other business tasks as needed.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION

    • Bachelor's degree in Market Research, Business Administration, Statistics, Information Technology, or related field
    • Master's degree is a plus

    WORK EXPERIENCE

    • Four years of market research or analytical experience
    • Healthcare experience is preferred

    License/Certification

    • Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
    • Experience in data visualization and survey methodology is a bonus
