As a dishwasher at bartaco, your main responsibility is to ensure cleanliness and sanitation in the restaurant by maintaining and organizing dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment.
Major Responsibilities:
- Organizing and Cleaning
Your primary responsibility is to organize and clean all dirty dishes, glassware, cooking utensils, and other items, ensuring they are properly loaded into the dishwasher for cleaning.
- Removing Trash and Garbage
Regularly emptying the dishwasher to remove water, trash, and garbage from the restaurant and dispose of it in the designated dumpster.
- Floor Maintenance
Rolling and unrolling mats to clean the floors and maintaining a clean and safe dishwashing station.
- Preparation of Food
The dishwasher may assist with food item preparations.

- Physical Movements
The position may require sitting, climbing, stooping, and kneeling to perform tasks effectively.
- Endurance
Dishwashers must be able to tolerate long periods of being on their feet to manage the continuous flow of dirty dishes and maintain a clean dishwashing station.
- Lifting and Moving Objects
Being capable of lifting up to 10 pounds and moving objects weighing up to 25 pounds, such as crates of dishes or containers of cleaning supplies.
