- Perform data cleaning and assess data for outliers and need for transformation
- Conduct analytic/statistical programming in SAS for a varied set of epidemiologic analyses
- Prepare tables for manuscripts
- Write sections of manuscripts
- Other research-related duties as needed
- Bachelor's degree
- 0-1 year working on similar projects in similar settings
- Graduate-level coursework/research experience in epidemiology and biostatistics preferred
- Excel, SAS programming, and data analysis experience preferred
- Experience writing epidemiologic manuscripts in English preferred
- Excellent knowledge of computer programs, databases, etc. including SAS, Excel, Word
- In-depth understanding of statistical methods
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience with writing methods sections of papers is a plus
- Ability to work independently as well as in team settings
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize a variety of tasks
- Excellent interpersonal skills for working with statisticians and co-investigators

The Division of Women's Health at Brigham and Women's Hospital is seeking a research assistant.
