    Responsibilities:
    Perform engineering duties and assignments that include product development, product support, and sales support.
    Analyze and interpret engineering data submitted for new products and for modifications affecting standard products. Modify designs using standard engineering practice to effect improvements and meet customer requirements.
    Instruct design and drafting personnel in the preparation of drawings, calculations, and specifications. Ensure accuracy of designs, dimensions, tolerances, material specifications, etc.

    Work with manufacturing to methodize production operations, tooling requirements, feasibility of manufacture or sub-contracting, labor, and material cost estimates, etc.

    Confer with the Sales Department to assist in answering product related technical questions.
    Oversee the construction, assembly and testing of newly developed products. Devise test set-ups and analyze test data.


    Qualifications:
    B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline.
    Strong mechanical inclination and a desire to pursue hands-on design engineering.
    The drive to continuously learn about new developments in engineering and it's impact on customer applications.
    At least four years experience in a position designing precision machined components.
