Responsibilities_

Priorities can often change in a fast-paced environment like ours, so this role includes, but is not limited to, the following responsibilities:

  • Running project meetings
  • Attend site visits and meetings as needed
  • Understanding of key performance indexes to check on project health
  • Reviewing contracts, invoicing, collection
  • Ability to manage younger staff as needed

Essential Skills and Experience:


  • Minimum 5 years design experience including coordination and managing multi disciplines and the preparation of complete design package as a deliverable.
  • 5 years + of civil engineering experience, including grading and drainage plans, civilsite utility plans, storm, and sanitary sewer design
  • Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling of sewer systems
  • Technical QA/QC, Report Writing
  • 5 years client facing and management experience
  • Running project meetings
  • Should be able to attend site visits and meetings as needed
  • Understanding of key performance indexes to check on project health
  • Reviewing contracts, invoicing, collection
  • Understanding of scope creep, budget changes etc
  • Computer literate (Microsoft-Excel, Word, PowerPoint,AutoCAD, ArcGIS))
  • Excellent problemsolving, analytical skills and decisionmaking capabilities
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills both oral and written
  • Eagerness to learn and possess the ability to take direction are key
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Ability to manage younger staff as needed
  • Project experience with NYCDEP is preferred
  • Affiliation and active participation in any Professional Organization e.g. NYWEA/NJWEA, ASCE, AWWA

Pay:
$115, $120,000.00 per year

  • 8 hour shift

Education:


  • Bachelor's (preferred)

Experience:


  • Construction management: 1 year (preferred)
  • Project management: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

  • Engineer In Training (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • New York, NY preferred)

Work Location:
