- Coordinating and tracking heavy truck customer repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foreman.
- Being customer focused, listening, and critically thinking to provide solutions.
- Creating and maintaining repair orders.
- Handling customer complaints professionally
- Advising the customer of service work, suggesting additional labor, parts, and body shop sales.
- Being a positive team member.
- Being trainable in new technology, service bulletins, recalls, and warranty.
- Adhering to and promoting company safety policy.
- Performing other duties assigned by a manager/supervisor; being adaptable.
- Minimum of 1 year service advising experience in heavy-truck or automotive industry.
- Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to use multi-line phone.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to submit to and pass background check and drug screening test.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Exceptional customer service, verbal, written, and communication skills
- A positive team attitude is a must
- 2 years or more experience as a heavy truck service advisor.
