The Glen Ridge district, located in the Hamburg metropolitan area, is conveniently situated in the heart of Schleswig-Holstein between the North and Baltic Seas.

With around 1,100 employees, it is a reliable employer in the region.

Our Health Department currently consists of 30 employees who work interdisciplinary in a team of doctors, dentists, medical assistants, administrative staff, and a health scientist.

The Child and Youth Health Service conducts approximately 2,800 school entry examinations per year and provides medical examinations and assessments for children and adolescents on various issues.
