Coney Island Beach Operations HQ at West 25th Street


Location: 3026 West 25th Street, Brooklyn, NY 11224

Duration: 2.5-3 years (Construction starts September 2024)


Infinite Consulting is looking to add a skilled Assistant Project Manager with a minimum of 5 years of experience to renovate the Main Building of the Coney Island Beach HQ while leaving the Administration Building and Vehicle Shops operational during and after the project.

Located in Coney Island, Brooklyn, the existing Coney Island Headquarters is composed of 2 separate structures and the surrounding maintenance yard.

This Assistant Project Manager's tasks will include but not be limited to the following:

  • Assist in the renovation of the Main Building while ensuring uninterrupted operations in the Administration Building and Vehicle Shops throughout and post-project completion.
  • Help manage all aspects of the renovation project in Coney Island, Brooklyn, including structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire alarm upgrades, as well as site work and window replacement.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth progress and timely completion of the renovation while adhering to quality standards and safety regulations.
  • Develop and implement strategies to mitigate risks and minimize disruptions to ongoing operations during the renovation process.
  • Oversee the resiliency and elevation of systems or utilities as part of the renovation project to enhance the facility's longterm sustainability and functionality.

Skills, Education, and Experience Qualifications:


  • Degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management preferred.
  • OSHA 10 Certification.
  • Relevant experience in leading largescale renovation projects, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in construction management or a related field with NYC
  • Previous Experience with the NYC Department of Parks and Recreation will be an added advantage.
  • Proficiency in project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution and delivery.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with diverse stakeholders and convey technical information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Problemsolving abilities to identify and address challenges proactively, ensuring project
  • Attention to detail to oversee the quality of renovation work and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Adaptability to navigate changing project requirements and address unforeseen circumstances effectively, adjusting plans as needed to achieve project goals.
  • Technical proficiency in building systems and construction methodologies, particularly in the context of renovation projects involving structural, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and fire alarm upgrades.
