    Primary Responsibilities
    In the role of Geotechnical Engineer, we'll count on you to:

    Develop geotechnical engineering designs, sketches, plans, specifications and estimates for flood walls, levees, bank protection, and pumping stations projects
    Perform complex assignments exercising judgment in evaluation, selection and modification of standard engineering techniques and procedures
    Perform geotechnical engineering and pavement design services for TxDOT facilities
    Conduct slope stability, seepage analysis and other geotechnical engineering studies
    Make decisions on significant design and engineering procedures as needed
    Function as Technical Specialist or Project Manager on mid-size projects as needed, but project management is not the sole focus of this position
    Supervise a small staff of professionals and technicians as needed
    Perform other duties as needed
    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications
    Professional Engineer (PE) license
    Experience with Microsoft Office applications, MicroStation or other software as appropriate
    An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
    Preferred Qualifications
    Master Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering
    Minimum 3 years of Geotechnical Experience
