Qualifications& Knowledge - High school diploma
- Minimum one year of experience as a mechanic or technician
- Basic computer skills and applications such as MS Excel, MS Word or Corel WordPerfect, e-mail app such as G-mail or Outlook. Ability to follow written instructions and directions
- Ability to use basic math and numbers, and to use a computer terminal, calculator, and telephone.
- Ability to multitask and pay attention to detail
- Ability to work under immediate supervision Ability to pass a drug test
- Ability to work hours mandated by management. Ability to identify mechanical parts and fittings (including plumbing fittings) products based on Material, size, class, grade, type, etc. after basic training.
- Ability to verbalize and/or document areas of deficiency with regard to manufacturing, inventory control, record keeping policies and procedures
- Ability to collect all data relative to a problematic situation and determine specifically what needs to be done to correct it. Ability to plan, and organize the work, determine priorities, meet deadlines and work under pressure and stress.
- Good problem solving skills
- Has a Driver's License and Car for personal transport
