- Conduct initial consultations with prospective clients, educating them on the benefits of personal training and understanding their fitness goals.
- Lead Group Exercise Classes and provide one-on-one and small group personal training sessions.
- Perform fitness evaluations for new clients, including various health metrics and history reviews, to tailor programs to their goals and needs.
- Monitor client progress, recommend new packages as needed, and ensure safe equipment usage in the fitness center.
- Welcome hotel guests, club members, and spa clients, assist with check-in procedures, and provide information about the club's facilities.
- Handle phone inquiries, schedule appointments, and promote Health Club products and services.
- Conduct facility tours, maintain cleanliness in locker rooms, and assist guests and members with equipment usage.
- Promote the club's Mission and Values in daily operations and support the Health Club Manager with assigned tasks.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required.
- Preferably a Bachelor's degree.
- Nationally accredited personal training certification is mandatory.
- CPR and First Aid certifications are necessary.
- Minimum 1-2 years of personal training experience required.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Organizational skills, basic computer proficiency, and the ability to multitask.

The Fitness and Personal Training Specialist with a Nationally accredited personal training certification plays a crucial role in the success of the Health Club. They will oversee both the fitness and membership departments. As a representative of Wave Health & Fitness, your interactions with guests and members are key. Your friendly, professional, and enthusiastic approach enhances the value of our services.
To excel in this role, you need to be fitness-oriented, passionate, anticipate member and guest needs, and handle challenges with a solution-oriented mindset. Understanding the club's membership, their fitness goals, and interests will enable you to provide tailored advice on club services and programs. The Fitness and Personal Training Specialist will report directly to the Health Club Manager.
