    Senior Accountant - Part-Time & Free Parking in DC

    About the Company and Opportunity:

    • Our client is apart of a prestigious university system in the DC area
    • Due to growth, they are looking to hire a self-motivated Senior Accountant.
    • Schedule: 21/hours a week - days are flexible - in office in DC.
    • Pay Rate: $35-38/hr depending on experience.
    • Free parking is available.
    • Duration: contract-to-hire

    Overview of the Senior Accountant role:

    • Accounts Receivable - invoicing, cash application, and collections
    • Accounts Payable - entering invoices and vendor maintenance
    • Bank and credit card reconciliations
    • Journal Entries - GL
    • Assist with month-end close
    • Ad hoc projects as assigned

    Preferred Qualifications for the Senior Accountant:

    • 3+ years of Senior Accountant experience
    • Bachelors degree in Accounting or related field
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
