- Supervise and coordinate all on-site construction activities, including scheduling, sequencing, and monitoring progress.
- Oversee the deployment of manpower, equipment, and materials to ensure efficient utilization and timely completion of tasks.
- Conduct regular site inspections to monitor work quality, adherence to plans, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Lead and motivate on-site personnel, including subcontractors, foremen, and laborers, to ensure productivity and adherence to project goals.
- Assign tasks and responsibilities to team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to promote teamwork and excellence in performance.
- Enforce safety policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment and prevent accidents and injuries.
- Conduct regular safety meetings and toolbox talks to educate workers on safety best practices and address safety concerns.
- Investigate incidents and near misses, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Proven experience as a Construction Superintendent, with a minimum of 5 years in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Thorough understanding of safety regulations and best practices.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and documents.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- OSHA certification and other relevant credentials preferred.
