The BUND's federal office in Berlin is seeking a *Climate Protection and Energy Policy Officer with a focus on Nuclear Policy* starting May 1, 2024, for a one-year maternity leave replacement (with the option of a parental leave replacement) in a part-time position of 32 hours per week.

The energy policy work is a core area of the Climate Protection Department at the BUND's federal office.

As the Climate Protection and Energy Policy Officer, your responsibilities will include monitoring current political developments, coordinating BUND's positions, and identifying and utilizing opportunities for influence.

While nuclear policy will be one of your main areas of focus, work on other energy policy challenges is also desired.

Your tasks will include:

Conducting professional political lobbying at the national and, if relevant, European level.
Advancing BUND's climate and energy policy work strategically and technically, with a particular focus on nuclear policy.
Advising and developing BUND's positions in coordination with the association's governing bodies.
Contributing to the acquisition of thirdparty funding projects.
