    Your Impact:

    We're looking for an Instrumentation and Controls Engineer in Boise, Idaho who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our client's business.

    Join us and you'll have the chance to work on projects including state-of-the-art industrial and commercial facilities.

    Working with other members of our team of Jacobs and client staff, you will be accountable for the schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule.

    You will design facility systems to accommodate the installation of new semiconductor manufacturing tools, and support new construction and retrofit projects.

    You will also engage with clients and subcontractors as you participate in regular field walks and project meetings, develop I&C drawings and construction specifications, specify instruments, and write control narratives.

    You will produce designs for industrial production facilities, cooling and utility plants, semiconductor tool installations, HVAC, process, and piping systems.

    You will be responsible for producing process and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs), control panel drawings, wiring diagrams, and producing buildable AutoCAD drawings for project installations.

    Here's What You'll Need:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (desired but not required)
    • At least 2 years of experience working in the field of Instrumentation and Controls Engineering
    • Experience designing industrial control panels Ideally, you'll have:
    • Working knowledge of PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers), DCS (Distributed Control System), and other controls applications preferred
    • Engineer in Training (EIT) or Professional Engineer (PE) license
    • Effective verbal and written?communication
    • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills??
    • Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas?
    • Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base?
    • Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multidisciplinary teams?
