Purpose:
The purpose of the Claims Coordinator is to resolve the claims involving Customer Returns, Inventory Discrepancies, Carrier Claims, Supplier Claims, and Sales Order Adjustments.
Ensure efficient and accurate claims transactions while maintaining a balanced workload.
Manage and respond to business inquiries regarding claims.
Process all areas of claims within the ERP system with timely and accurate identification coding for each business.
Communicate with other departments on obtaining approvals and dispositions of products for various claims.
Enter and obtain proper documentation for customer returns and issue customer credits for those returns.
Ensure claims are processed through to resolution and closed within the system.
Develop relations with the various departments for continued communication and support to resolve claims in a timely manner.
Work with other departments to confirm quantities and material that shipped, to process claims requiring credit/rebills to Customers.
Participate in positive, productive conversations when disputes arise within the department and provided an analysis of the situation to the Supervisor.
To produce claim status reports for management.Suggest claims processing workflow improvements with approval from the Supervisor.
To respond to questions/concerns to meet business needs.
Use of ERP system to investigate and log Nonconformance
Process customer complaints, RGA's, Nonconformance documentation and CAR's
Produce weekly reports for investigators and inventory coordinators to ensure paperwork completion
Track data in spreadsheets and produce quarterly analysis
Create and research statistical trends for quality management reviews
Update, distribute and maintain controlled documents
Perform internal process audits
Complete and maintain customer surveys and scorecards
All other duties as assigned
