Webasto Roof Systems Inc. is currently recruiting for Legal Counsel located at their HQ in Auburn Hills, MI.
If you have experience working for a large company with international roots, then this position might be right for you
Job Responsibilities:
• Researching, analyzing and interpreting proposed and existing laws, statutes and regulations
• Identifying, monitoring and addressing issues of legal risk
• Structuring, drafting, negotiating and/or approving legal contracts, letters of agreement, policies and other documents
• Representing/advocating for an organization in litigation, arbitration, mediation or other disputes with courts, government agencies or other legal authorities
Education and Experience:
• Must have a Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school
• Must be licensed and in good standing with the Michigan Bar Association
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in large corporation; in-house
• Must have legal experience in M&A, antitrust, competition, product liability, data protection and compliance
• Good understanding of economic relationships
• Automotive industry preferred
• Skilled in working cross-culturally and internationally
• First class written and verbal skills
