We are Media Pioneer, a new type of digital media company located in the heart of Berlin. Our focus is on innovative and independent journalism covering topics in business and politics - always current, always relevant.

Our hosts include founder and editor Gabor Steingart, as well as former Vice Chancellor Sigmar Gabriel and bestselling author Juli Zeh.

With the world's first media ship, we have created a floating office that travels through Berlin's government district, always at the pulse of current events.


What you'll do with us:


At The Pioneer, you'll be more than just an editor - we're looking for a data journalist (m/f/d) who can interpret the world through numbers and facts.


  • You'll research and sort data on relevant topics in politics, business, and society.
  • You'll work closely with the editorial team and briefing hosts using data to support and tell our stories.
  • You'll coordinate the creation of graphics for our newsletters Pioneer Briefing and Hauptstadt
  • Das Briefing.
  • You'll contribute to daily topic selection for our products, actively participate in editorial meetings, and bring your own ideas and perspectives.
  • You'll work on articles and write your own stories or graphic features.
  • You'll also attend our live events to bring relevant topics and interview perspectives.

What you bring to the table:

  • Ideally, you have some experience in journalism, particularly in the areas of business and politics.
