    Description


    One of the country's fastest up and coming Satellite system defense contractors in Englewood, CO is looking for a Lead MBSE engineer to support their ongoing satellite developments.

    The Engineer will be responsible for leading, mentoring, and teaching engineering team members to implement and use Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools to capture system designs.

    This individual will be responsible for defining MBSE processes and Procedures for all product lines.

    The candidate will also lead MBSE Working Groups at the program and enterprise level to establish model standards and guide model development.

    They will review MBSE products for conformance with the system requirements and architecture and established quality standards. The candidate will support internal development efforts to advance MBSE practices and digital engineering.

    They will conduct trade studies to select digital engineering tools to implement the digital engineering roadmap and meet program requirements.

    The candidate will support program teams in the development of MBSE work-products to achieve program requirements. They will contribute to the conduct of program design and readiness reviews. Opportunities will arise to support internal development and new business opportunities.

    The candidate will perform other duties as assigned and is responsible for observing all laws, regulations, and other applicable obligations wherever and whenever business is conducted on behalf of the Company.

    They are expected to work in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.

    Previous new system satellite segment design

    Active TS/SCI
    Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field

    3 years of leading technical teams

    Expertise with SysML in all aspects of the engineering cycle

    5+ years of MBSE experience

    TS Clearance
