    ispace is looking for a

    Lead Satellite Engineer

    to add to it's growing team

    Key Responsibilities:


    Lead the integrated design of satellite systems through coordination with our suppliers, ensuring technical feasibility and compliance with specified requirements.

    Oversee the technical aspects during the build, integration, and testing phases conducted in collaboration with our partner companies.
    Lead a team of engineers in the execution of satellite design, built and test.

    Project Management:


    Manage the satellite project lifecycle, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.

    Coordinate with cross-functional teams and our partner company to ensure project milestones, from design to testing, are achieved seamlessly.

    Systems Engineering:
    Develop and validate system requirements and specifications, ensuring they align with project objectives and stakeholder needs.
    Implement systems engineering best practices, ensuring the reliability, sustainability, and performance of the satellite system.

    Risk Management:
    Identify, analyze, and manage technical risks, implementing mitigation strategies to safeguard project objectives.
    Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices throughout the project lifecycle.

    Collaboration and
    Communication:

    Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project objectives and progress.
    Present project updates, findings, and technical information to stakeholders, team members, and leadership effectively.

    Qualifications:

    Education:
    Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field. Advanced degrees are preferred.

    Experience:
    Minimum of 7 years of experience in satellite systems engineering and project management.

    Technical Proficiency:
    In-depth knowledge of satellite systems, subsystems, and technologies.

    Project Management:
    Proven experience in managing complex engineering projects from inception to completion.

    Communication:
    Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly.

    Leadership:
    Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams.

    Problem-Solving:
    Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate technical challenges and implement effective solutions.

    Compensation and Benefits:
    Competitive salary based upon experience - $125k+
