    Production Supervisor CNC- 2nd Shift

    Pay: $24- $28 (DOE)

    Job Location: W160 S6609 Commerce Drive, Muskego, Wisconsin 53150

    Salary: $ $28.00 per hour

    $1.00/hr Shift Premium for 2nd shift

    Supervisory shift premium in addition

    2nd Shift position

    Schedule:

    • 10-hour shift.
    • Monday to Thursday.
    • Night shift.
    • Overtime available
    • 3-day weekends

    Overview:

    Northern Gear & Machining is seeking an experienced 2nd ShiftProduction Machining Supervisor to collaborate with a team dedicated to the success of our customers. This individual will be responsible and accountable for the employees during the shift, while operating various machines as needed. They will ensure employees follow all processes, procedures, and safety/work policies that we have in place. This is a working supervisor position. Bilingual in English / Spanish is preferred.

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
    • Machining knowledge (required).
    • Minimum 5 years of CNC Mill and Lathes experience.
    • Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment to assure quality and delivery requirements are met.
    • Leadership and demonstrated ability to lead people and get results.
    • Strong team player, interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Commitment to the organization.
    • Demonstrates attention to detail and thoroughness.

    Responsibilities:

    • During your shift, all operators will be instructed to notify you of downtime and will you approve and/or move them to another machine.
    • Communicate all absences to HR/Plant Operations Manager.
    • Responsible for maintaining posted rates.
    • Evaluation/Train all new hires and make recommendations.
    • At the end of each shift, review and approve employee production.
    • Responsible for all material produced on the shift.

    Education:

    • High school or equivalent (Preferred).


    Experience:

    • Manufacturing: 3 years (Preferred).
