Electronics technicians for devices and systems (m/f/d) control and monitor processes in the production and maintenance of information or communication technology devices. They commission systems and devices and maintain them. They create production documents, set up production and testing machines, install and configure programs or operating systems, and participate in quality assurance. They also advise customers and train users in handling the devices.

Your tasks
  • You will become familiar with the information and communication technology devices used by the German Armed Forces and how to install and configure them.
  • You will be trained to plan and organize production and maintenance.
  • You will learn to identify sources of errors and correct defects. You will use testing and measuring equipment as well as diagnostic software for this purpose.
  • You will be theoretically and practically qualified to set up production and testing machines and participate in quality assurance.
Your qualifications
  • You have at least a satisfactory secondary school leaving certificate.
  • You are skilled in craftsmanship.
  • You have technical understanding.
  • You enjoy working in a team.
