- As a Medical Laboratory Technician, your responsibility is to conduct routine medical laboratory tests to aid in the diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of diseases.
- Completion of an Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (MLT) is a must.
- Upon hiring, a certification in Medical Laboratory Technology from the American Society Clinical Sciences (ASCP) is required. Plus, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Work hours are 7:30 am to 6 pm with weekend rotations and occasional holidays, totaling 72 hours every two weeks. Weekend rotation includes every 5th night and holiday rotation is once every 2 years at nights.
