    Founded in San Francisco in 1902, LightHouse's mission is to promote the independence, equality, and self-reliance of individuals who are blind or visually impaired. The organization is currently expanding its services to assist more low-vision and blind clients.



    OVERVIEW


    The Human Resources Business Partner/Payroll Liaison (HRBP) plays a vital role at LightHouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in San Francisco. Reporting to the Vice President of People and Culture, this position ensures timely payroll submissions, works on organizational effectiveness in collaboration with OPEIU Local 29, and enhances the overall union employee experience.

    The HRBP collaborates with leadership, business units, OPEIU Local 29, and HR teams to provide comprehensive HR solutions that contribute to business success and a positive workplace culture.

    Responsibilities include accurate and timely payroll submissions, strategic coordination based on the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), and more.


    QUALIFICATIONS


    Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field plus 3+ years of progressive HR experience. Knowledge of unions, CBAs, and OPEIU Local 29 is advantageous. Ability to handle labor relations matters, interpret union contracts, strong data analysis skills, HR best practices, and more are required.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, experience in the blindness field or disability community, HR certifications, and payroll knowledge are beneficial.
