    Description

    Full Stack Web Developer

    This position will sit in Fayetteville, AR.

    Purpose: The Full Stack Developer is a part of the Software Development Team and participates in software development at Kimbel Mechanical Systems (KMS). The development is mainly related to KMS Apps (applications) which include ERP (Parallel) and other custom applications. The development includes all new features, updates, maintenance, documentation, data integrity and recovery of the applications and data. As part of the software development team, the full stack developer is responsible for all quality assurance, code standards and methodologies used not only for his/her software development, but other members of the software development team. The Full Stack Developer is part of the Information Technology (IT) Department and reports to the Software Development Manager.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop KMS Internal Applications using Agile methodology.
    • Define the objects, techniques and processes used to develop internal applications.
    • Ensures that KMS Internal Applications are world class.
    • Document all code using industry standard documentation processes.
    • Participate in Daily Standup and SCRUM meetings
    • Maintain Software Development Life Cycle.
    • Responsible for installation, configuration, upgrades and migration of applications.
    • Work with System Administrator to make sure that proper backup and recovery procedures are in place for applications
    • Ensure that database and application security processes are followed.
    • Perform monitoring, tuning and troubleshooting.
    • Deploy applications to development, quality-assurance (QA) and production environments.
    • Utilize source control of code.
    • Responsible for source control usage, builds, and deployment activities for applications.
    • Creates source control versions and documents new changes and updates.
    • Research and monitor new technology and trends.
    • Identify new development practices, new techniques and how they can benefit KMS.
    • Plans for how to incorporate new technology and techniques.
    • Member of the IT Department and Help Desk Team.
    • Assists with software related help desk tickets, troubleshoot and debug.
    • Assists with IT Projects.
    Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred. Masters in CS/IT a plus.
    • Customer service oriented
    • Willing to serve others
    • Be able to listen to users need and develop software that matches their needs
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills/professionalism
    • Friendly Demeanor
    • Experience with vanilla JavaScript and HTML
    • Experience developing complex enterprise level web applications using C# and .Net
    • Experience with relational databases such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc
    • Experience in constructing engineering and architectural patterns
    • Experience with writing RESTful API
