- 1st installment of the bonus is paid on your FIRST paycheck.
- 2nd installment of the bonus is paid after successful completion of your 90 day probationary period.
- Signing bonuses are for select positions only and will be indicated on the job posting.
- Current Employee department transfers are not eligible for signing bonus.
- Any former Employee who has resigned or been dismissed within the past 12 months is not eligible for a signing bonus.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Washington State Early Childhood Education Certificate or CDA preferred .
- An Associate or higher in Early Childhood Education (ECE) preferred .
- Six (6) months' work experience with children (birth to age 5) and families in childcare, education, classroom or related field.
- Negative TB Skin Test or chest x-ray.
- CPR/First Aide Certificate.
- Blood Borne Pathogens Certificate.
- Food Handlers Permit.
- Must abide by the departments MMR (Measles, mumps and Rubella) vaccination policy
- Must pass a physical exam prior to hire
- Must be able to pass an Agility exam to determine if physically capable to perform the job functions.
- 30 hours of STARS training. Will allow 90 days to obtain.
- Employment is contingent on successful completion of a pre-employment background check.

JOB SUMMARY: Engage children in activities designed to promote social, emotional, physical and developmental growth in preparation to reach School Readiness Goals. Utilize Program Curriculum to work with children on a daily basis to address individual educational goals. Work with families to support their child in their educational success.
COMPENSATION: $19.82 hr.
