Insurance Customer Service Representative

Full-time position

For the customer service professional looking to have a measurable impact on the present and future business of an industry leader, look no further We are an established local Farmers Insurance agency looking for our newest team member to join our successful, growing Lake Oswego office.

Position Requirements

1-2 years prior insurance experience. Comprehensive training is provided.

Property and Casualty insurance licensing will be required, along with Health and Life. If currently unlicensed, must be able to self-study and pass testing. Our agency will assist in implementing the program for this self-paced training prior to employment. If already licensed, we offer a bonus

Ability to be a team player with an upbeat, enthusiastic, and positive attitude

Ability to be organized, multi-task and do well following through with multi-stepped transactions with great attention to detail while looking for cross sell opportunities

Has great attention to detail which will ensure that the information is processed in a secure, efficient, and accurate manner

Ability to learn quickly, is self-motivated, and has a heart for helping people, is outgoing, driven, and ambitious

Excellent written and verbal skills, proficient with typing and computer navigation

Ability to actively listen to get the root of a customer's issue to solve it quickly in a courteous and professional demeanor, both on the phone and in person to assure clients that their issues are being handled by a competent and concerned business professional

Ability to handle a fast-paced environment, stressful and difficult situation with wisdom and grace

COMPENSATION

Annual salary of $50,000+ depending on experience and team sales made
