Our technology supports recycling at scale across an entire ecosystem including states with Deposit Recovery Systems (aka Bottle Bills) and Producer Responsibility Organizations or Brands who enable customers to recycle with convenient solutions.


Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Customer Service Representative to join our well-regarded and growing team. If you don't have inbound service experience but have been in roles where you have practiced customer support, we will train you


Often the first point of contact for customers, we are seeking a customer service professional who is adept at engaging with customers.

By joining our team, you will work alongside colleagues who are not just going to get the job "done" but will go above and beyond to delight our customers.


To be successful in this role, you are a professional problem solver by building positive rapport and communicating appropriately with different personality types.

You are also a specialized consultant for all things CLYNK, guiding our customers through the process of recycling and redemption to help make their experience with us as successful as possible.


Requirements, Location & Schedule:


  • As CLYNK enters new markets and different states, we are seeking to add a bilingual, Spanish speaking Customer Service Representative to our existing team, to assist with calls in a marketplace with a higher demographic of Spanish speaking customers
  • Our customer service team currently operates Monday through Friday, 8:30am to 5:00pm. Holiday requirements exist on a rotating basis.

Responsibilities:


  • Receive, evaluate & answer incoming calls and digital communications in a timely and professional manner
  • Identify customers' needs, clarify information, research every issue, and provide resolution; able to identify, properly document and resolve or escalate consumer complaints fully and accurately describes the issue to be resolved
  • Applies knowledge related to CLYNK's services and more broadly details associated with Maine and New York's Bottle Bills to perform assigned duties
  • Follows standard procedures as set by CLYNK Customer Service policies
  • Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets
  • Able to work assigned schedule between the hours of 9am and 5pm, Monday through Friday
  • Performs other duties as the business requires

Additional Requirements:


  • Positive attitude, engaging personality, and willingness to help customers solve their questions or account issues
  • Customer Service experience in a call center environment is helpful but not required
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening
  • Displays strong written communication skills including the ability to personalize scripted information
  • Excellent patience and problemsolving skills
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong computer skills including working with CRM tools and Microsoft Office
  • H.S. diploma or equivalent
