Zachary Piper Solutions is currently seeking a
Contracts Specialist. This position is supporting a large DOD program in Ballston, VA, and requires at least a Secret clearance.

Location: Arlington, VA (Hybrid: 1 day onsite)

Responsibilities:

As a Contracts Specialist, you will play a vital role in the Department of Defense Research & Development (FAR Part 35) contracts administration process

Your tasks will include:

Skillfully preparing and administering terms and conditions for contracts that contribute to our national security objectives.
Collaborating in contract negotiation efforts, analyzing proposed costs, and evaluating pricing strategies.
Crafting contract modifications with precision and proficiency.
Conducting in-depth analysis of procurement policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
Meticulously preparing and maintaining essential contract file documentation according to FAR, DFARS, and related regulations.

Qualifications:

At least 6 years administering government contracts.
Proficiency in utilizing Procurement Desktop-Defense technologies (PD2).
Bachelor's Degree in marketing, economics, law, or a related field, providing a well-rounded foundation for success.
A Secret Security Clearance, enabling you to contribute effectively to projects of national significance.

Compensation:

Annual salary:
$140,000 to $160,000, depending on experience
