    POSITION SUMMARY


    Leveraging the highest level of digital savvy, provide overall vision, leadership, strategy, and execution of all marketing programs and initiatives of the organization.

    Develop end-to-end marketing function that delivers consistent branding, organizational and product messaging, digital presence/visual representation, product sales support and demand generation.

    Focus on demand generation with the goal of increasing ASI's distributor and supplier networks. Partner collaboratively with business leaders to ensure marketing programs and advertising expenditures support company revenue and growth objectives. Identify potential new markets, customer segments, and products.


    With other senior leaders, revitalize the overall marketing effort, providing standards and efficiencies, and innovative sales tools based on analytics and data, ultimately changing the face of the business with increased emphasis on digital capabilities.


    RESPONSIBILITIES
    Manage a team of approximately 15 motivated marketers responsible for partnering with the business leaders and product team to drive revenue through effective and creative demand generation, brand and product marketing strategies
    Oversee communications and coordination with executive leadership, sales and product teams to ensure proper market positioning, internal and external planning
    Work with product and sales and relationship function leaders (and their teams) to design the go-to-market strategy for new launches or retention marketing campaigns
    Collaborate closely with Senior Vice President of Sales, Senior Vice President, Events, Media and Marketing Services, Chief Product Officer and Chief Financial Officer to develop and implement plans that align with company objectives
    Ensure that all communications are consistent and on brand
    Develop and oversee marketing budgets
    Develop and execute acquisition (ad campaigns and marketing materials) and retention efforts to identify new client opportunities and retain existing business
    Focus on digital marketing, product marketing and field marketing, lead gen, marketing operations
    Develop and execute social media marketing strategies, working with central social media team
    Establish/enhance brand positioning with the goal of growing market penetration and reaching and exceeding new sales targets
    Provide research, analysis and insight into competitive products, services, marketplace strategies, and positioning
    Ensure the marketing database and related data aggregation and customer database are optimized to facilitate efficient targeted data marketing
    Oversee the creation and development of client-facing marketing and communication material
    Develop metrics to measure ROI of marketing campaigns
    Accompany sales leaders on client calls when appropriate
    Develop client case studies to be used in the selling process

    Trade Show, Events, Media and Marketing Services Teams
    Shared services teams (legal, finance, IT, administration)


    QUALIFICATIONS

    7+ years of broad-based marketing experience, developing and growing innovative B2B brands, ideally with background in SaaS platforms; B2B media; business intelligence; events; and/or related industries.

    Has partnered successfully with sales teams, has a strength in demand generation and has shown a consistent focus on supporting efforts to drive revenue and build market share.

    Proven capability to build creative, compelling and attractive marketing campaigns and strategies.
    Expert at translating target understanding and market insight into clear product positioning and benefit-centered messaging and execution.
    Experience developing highly effective marketing strategies and producing product-focused campaigns and materials to drive awareness and sales activation.
    Track record of driving and building strong partnerships with internal groups to support revenue growth.
    Excellent presentation creation, story structure and delivery experience.
    Fiercely detailed-oriented with ability to prioritize short-term needs and long-term planning.
    Experience developing successful social media marketing strategies.
    Strong, demonstrated understanding of ABM, integrated marketing solutions, content marketing, audience and membership models.
    Experience in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced, growth environment.

    Proficiency with common marketing tools such as: Salesforce, Marketo, Eloqua, BlueConic, Segment, Constant Contact, Canva, LinkedIn, Campaign Manager, Twitter, WordPress, Hootsuite, Office 365 suite.

    Travel to trade shows and events.
    Bachelor's degree with a marketing emphasis, or other relevant field of study.
