    This is a hybrid role based in our new Dallas infrastructure hub where we work on the latest technologies in a cutting-edge environment.

    G-Research's Cloud Engineering group is seeking an AWS Engineer specializing in Cloud Compute and Storage to join its rapidly expanding global team based in Dallas.

    This crucial role will rely on your expertise to deploy highly available compute and storage solutions to help support the company's operational needs and strategic goals.

    Collaborating with compute and storage teams to enforce strict security measures, ensuring compliance with internal policies
    Automating deployments and operations using scripting languages, such as Python, and infrastructure as code tools, such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform
    Developing and maintaining disaster recovery strategies for solutions and participating in DR testing where applicable
    Monitoring and providing advice on current and upcoming costs alongside implementing cost-saving measures where possible to optimize spending
    Staying informed and actively monitoring AWS for updates to service offerings, reporting your recommendations back to our consumer teams and stakeholders

    Expertise in at least one programming language, such asPython or Golang
    Solid understanding of cloud computing principles, architectures, and services offered by AWS
    Proven ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously
