Materials Specialist for Joining/Manufacturing Processes (all genders)

STRONG RESPONSIBILITIES

Independent planning and execution of technology and development projects
Representation of work results in development teams and documentation in the form of technical reports
Characterization and evaluation of joining and edge zones
Evaluation of manufacturing deviations in terms of material and component properties
Creation of specifications to support quality assurance, manufacturing, and procurement
Comparison with stateoftheart technology and development of potential improvements
Representation of the department in internal and external committees
Technical guidance and advice to development, manufacturing, procurement, and MRO departments in the field of materials engineering

EXCELLENT QUALIFICATIONS

Completed degree in materials engineering, mechanical engineering, or equivalent education
Indepth knowledge of metallic materials
Expertise in joining/manufacturing processes
High level of initiative and willingness to develop methodically and professionally
