    Job DescriptionCommercial Litigation Paralegal
    LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Direct Hire Commercial Litigation Paralegal to work at a prominent Chicago law firm known for its expertise in various legal matters.

    The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of litigation experience in a law firm setting and a comprehensive understanding of the Paralegal's role in the litigation process.

    This individual will also play a vital role in mentoring and training other paralegals and practice assistants.

    What our client needs you to do:
    • Assist attorneys in all stages of case preparation and management for commercial litigation and product liability matters.
    • Manage and monitor court deadlines, maintain case calendars, and ensure compliance with filing requirements.
    • Conduct online research using PACER, Westlaw, and other research tools.
    • Draft pleadings, notices, motions, and other legal documents.
    • Coordinate with attorneys and clients to prepare for trials.
    • Electronically file documents with the Court through the ECF system.
    • Provide guidance and support to junior paralegals and practice assistants.
    What you must have:
    • Bachelor's degree or paralegal certificate preferred; equivalent work experience will be considered.
    • 10+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal in a law firm setting.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software.
    • Strong organizational and critical thinking skills with attention to detail.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
    What you'll make:
    • $95,000-$115,000 per year (depending on experience)

    Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
