Litigation Paralegal - General Civil Litigation

Chicago, IL (In-office position)

Bruning & Associates, PC, a general civil litigation law firm, is currently seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal with a strong background in general civil litigation and a working knowledge of family law.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of legal documents (pleadings, motions, discovery, notices, etc.)
Drafting correspondence.
E-Filing & scheduling motions.
Scheduling depositions, court reporters, arranging for services of process.
Assist in the Discovery process by organizing and managing documents and coordinating the exchange of information between parties.
Manage case files, ensuring accuracy and completeness of information.
Assist in trial preparation and support attorneys during hearings and trials.
Legal administration tasks (processing payments, ordering supplies, etc.)
General receptionist duties.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a litigation paralegal.
Proficiency in legal research, case management software, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree and/or paralegal certification preferred.
