    Description

    Registered Nurses needed Are you experienced and interested in a new position as a RN?     Position: Registered Nurse Resource Float Pool

    Location: Saint Agnes Medical Center, 1303 E Herndon Ave. Fresno, CA 93720

    Shift: 12 Hour shifts. Self-Scheduling

    Pay Range: Depends on experience between $44.23 – $64.14 plus benefits

    *May be adjusted based on career ladder placement

    Position Requirements:

    • License: CA RN License
    • Certifications: BLS, ACLS (within 1 year)
    • Experience: 1 year of hospital experience as RN
    • Education: Associates required

    About the Unit

    This position is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the nursing care of each assigned patient; supervising, coordinating and guiding the activities with nursing staff members; and implementing the philosophy, goals and standards of care of the units. Will Float to all Med/Surg/Tele, Critical Care and ED units in the hospital. Qualified talent will also float to ED.

    • Independently provide safe, effective, and compassionate nursing care for a patient population on med-surg units across units based on areas of greatest need.
    • Utilize the nursing process in planning, implementing, and evaluating the patient plan of care.
    • Guide and direct assigned unlicensed assistive personnel in delivering interdisciplinary patient care.
    • Communicate and collaborate with members of the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and continuity of care.
    • Positively contributing to safety outcomes and promoting high quality patient experience.
    • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, family, and health care personnel is required.
    • Ability to handle varying issues in the midst of any situation and work effectively individually and as a member of a team within a stress-producing environment is required.
