    Summary:

    Provide Human Resource services to all employees of ALL at the Krome SPC.

    *Please Note:

    This position is contingent upon a contract award. We will not be actively responding to applicants until there is a need to move forward with this position.

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities

    :

    (including but not limited to)

    Manages random drug test program
    Managing the new hire program including arranging and conducting recruiting seminars and media ads for employment
    Conducting liaison as necessary with State Employment Offices
    Interviewing prospective employees
    Reviewing employment applications and documentation submitted by applicants for employment and security clearance processing.
    Assists Business Manager with preparing daily, weekly, monthly, and annual reports as required
    Assembling and forwarding security clearance packages to the Contracting Officer's Representative(s).
    Tracking submission of security packages, via excel database and reporting progress of applicants through the security clearance process to the Project Manager
    Assisting the Corporate Insurance Manager by scheduling employees for insurance-related appointments
    Assisting the Corporate HR Manager by providing various personnel information and documents pertaining to unemployment claims, and worker's compensation claims
    Develop, update various HR forms
    Maintaining Federal/State Dept of Labor Posters
    Assisting the COM/GM in the preparation of annual EEO/AAP reports through provision of employee data
    Other Duties as assigned

    Minimum Qualifications:

    High School Diploma or equivalent
    1 year experience in managing human resources for employees or a combination of higher education and HR management experience totaling 3 years
    Ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing.
    Computer skills including proficiency in various Microsoft Office Suite programs such as Word, Excel,
    Organizational skills commensurate with

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in human resources

    Supervision

    No supervision with this position.

    Work is performed in an office environment, may be subject to temperature and noise level changes.

    Physical Demands (including but not limited to):

    May be required to bend and stoop frequently and occasionally kneel or crouch.
    Often climbs stairs and works with arms above the shoulder.
    May often be required to move heavy equipment.
    Required to lift 50 lbs or less frequently and often lifts 50-65 lbs.
    May often be required to grip, squeeze and repetitively use fine hand movements.

    Work Schedule
    :
    40 hours a week, overtime as business needs dictates
