- Doctor of Psychology, Doctor of Philosophy, and 3 to 5 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Completion of an APA accredited doctoral program in clinical or counseling psychology and ability to be licensed in the state of Pennsylvania by start date. The ideal applicant will have prior experience delivering exposure therapy to children and adolescents and a passion for working with youth in the public mental health system and a strong interest in training the next generation of clinicians to provide culturally responsive services to youth with anxiety and related disorders. Previous experience conducting diagnostic assessments of youth using semi-structured diagnostic interviews is essential. Specific direct care clinical responsibilities will include conducting intake evaluations and providing individual therapy.The psychologist will be expected to receive in-house specialty training in and deliver exposure-based cognitive-behavioral therapy, consistent with the PATCH treatment model as well as use and support other staff to use evidence-based assessment progress monitoring tools to guide their treatment practice.
A portion of time will also be allocated for individual and group supervision and administrative activities (e.g., intake report writing, staff meetings).
