    SCOPE:

    The I.T. Trainee will undergo a comprehensive training program to gain hands-on experience and develop the necessary skills to support our organization's technology infrastructure. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone with basic technical knowledge to kickstart their career in the dynamic field of information technology within the insurance industry.     DUTIES:

    • Participate in a structured training program to acquire fundamental knowledge of the organization's technology stack, systems, and protocols.
    • Collaborate with experienced professionals to gain practical insights into the day-to-day operations of the IT department.
    • Provide basic technical support to end-users, assisting with hardware and software-related issues.
    • Learn to troubleshoot and resolve IT problems efficiently to minimize downtime and ensure smooth operations.
    • Assist in routine maintenance tasks, including software updates, patches, and system upgrades.
    • Learn to monitor system performance and respond to alerts to ensure optimal functionality.
    • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of documentation related to IT processes, procedures, and configurations.
    • Develop skills in documenting technical issues and resolutions for future reference.
    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and contribute to technology solutions that support organizational goals.
    • Collaborate with IT professionals on special projects and initiatives.

    EDUCATION:

    • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field required. (Recent graduates are encouraged to apply).

    SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

    • Basic understanding of computer systems, networks, and software applications.
    • Knowledge of Java, Python, HTML, CSS, and PHP preferred.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
