Its areas of responsibility include corporate management, central company organization, finance and accounting, controlling, personnel organization, personnel development and payroll, data processing and information technology, public relations, quality management, marketing management, as well as the business fields of city lighting and civil engineering. To strengthen our team, we are currently looking for a Group Accountant / Certified Accountant (m/f/d).

In this role, you will be involved in the preparation of the group financial statements, including consolidation entries, reconciliation of all intercompany relationships, and analysis.

You will also be responsible for managing the general ledger, as well as accounts receivable and accounts payable.

You will monitor the timely and accurate processing of all ongoing and specific accounting transactions, as well as the handling of payments and liquidity management.

Additionally, you will conduct internal controls and reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and completeness of the accounting records.

You will also assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements for multiple companies and provide support for the group financial statements.

Other tasks include assisting with budget planning, coordinating with auditors, tax authorities, and banks, and actively participating in process improvement projects.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in a business-related field (e.g. business administration, economics, finance) and/or a certification as an accountant or a comparable commercial education. You should have a
