    Warehouse Staff / Driver – Hollywood, CA

    Job Summary:

    The Warehouse Staff/Driver is responsible for providing outstanding front-line service to all Quixote clients. The responsibilities include for safely and efficiently loading, unloading, delivering and picking up equipment to and from our facility. They are also tasked with cleaning, testing and maintaining.

    Warehouse Staff / Driver duties include, but are not limited to, the following:

    • Accurately and efficiently pull and stage Quixote equipment for orders from the pull list paperwork in an organized manner.
    • Check and test all equipment to ensure proper functioning before it goes out and when it comes back.
    • Work with clients on the check-out and check-in process of equipment ensuring to get signatures for all contracts.
    • Help management with stock checks and short lists to maintain accurate inventory counts so all orders are filled appropriately.
    • Communicate customer requests, order changes and/or paperwork specifications to a member of the management team. Always take notes of physical changes made when rental software is not available (on location, etc).
    • Safely operate lift gates and material handling equipment (fork, man and/or scissor lifts) to load, unload or restock equipment.
    • Load and unload trucks following all proper lifting, pushing, and pulling techniques.
    • Properly assess and complete minor repairs to equipment when able.
    • Maintain a clean work area at all times.
    • Complete all tasks in a safe and timely manner.
    • Delivery and pick-up of expendables, production supplies, sub-rentals, purchases and repairs to and from client locations.
    • Accurately and thoroughly complete all paperwork.
    • Immediately report any issues/problems with vehicles to a member of the management team.
    • Maintain cleanliness of all company vehicles.
    • Operate all company vehicles in a safe and efficient manner, following all state and DOT regulations at all times. Aggressive or irresponsible driving are terminable offences.
    • All other duties as assigned by management and executive team.

    Required Experience and Abilities:

    • Possess exceptional customer service skills.
    • Experience operating material handling equipment.
    • Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record as determined by the company's insurance carrier.
    • Ability to effectively communicate with management, clients, and team members
    • Must have a flexible schedule with the ability to work overtime as needed.
    • High school diploma or GED required
    • Ability to perform all duties in a safe manner and in alignment with Company policies and procedures
    • Please note, the candidate selected for this position will be required to complete a drug screening and criminal background check.

    Working Conditions:

    Work activities will regularly include working outside, in inclement weather, with exposure to extreme temperatures, areas of poor visibility, wet and/or humid conditions.. Noise level in work environment can be loud and cause sound vibrations. Dust, mechanical hazards, moving objects, hazardous chemicals and operating vehicles will also be present in work environment.

    Physical Requirements:

    • Requirements are representative of those needed to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
    • Heavy work: requires ability to continually lift, push, and pull 50 pounds of product individually and occasionally in excess of 100 pounds up to 160 pounds of product in a team lift.
    • Physical activities required of this job include, but are not limited to: bending, carrying, climbing, crouching, feeling, finger movement, grasping, hearing, kneeling, lifting, pulling, pushing, rapid work speed, speaking, reaching, repetitive motions, seeing, sitting, standing, stooping, talking, twisting, walking, and walking on irregular surfaces.

    Compensation:

    Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role is $ $20.00 per hour.

    The salary offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors including but not limited to market location, job-related knowledge, education/training, certifications, key skills, experience, external market and internal value, including seniority and merit systems, and internal pay alignment. In compliance with the California Law, a potential new employee's salary history will not be used in compensation decisions.

    Quixote Studios reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for the position within the salary range listed, taking into account the wide variety of factors listed above
