Minimum Experience / Skills Required

-
Class C license required with good driving record:

Must have at least 2 years of experience in driving any or all of the following: Sprinter Van, Pick-up Truck, Box Truck (Non-Class B):
Strong geographical knowledge of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside County highways desired
Clean DMV record with no recent tickets or citations
Must be able to lift up to 4050 pounds of uneven weight unassisted.
Able to sit or stand for extended periods.
Willingness to learn the position and other duties as directed through management.
Good communication skills, written/ verbal required.
Ability to calculate basic mathematical equations.
Ability to read, write, and speak the English language is required.
Ability to work independently with little supervision once trained.
Basic computer skills are required

Working Environment

Fast paced distribution environment, customer locations where safety PPE & adherence to client safety regulations required; walking, standing, bending, lifting, and sitting frequently. Driving for extended periods of time throughout 8 hours a day or longer.

Machines Used, Equipment Operated

Forklift, pallet jacks, electric and manual equipment, PC & computers, copier, and telephone.

Supervision

Pickup or deliver material by route under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, Lead Driver, and/or Director of Operations.

Scope of Work

Responsible for pickup and delivery of material in the company vehicle.
May service Askew's bin Stocking Customers where applicable.
Must maintain and clean and organized environment where our product is stored in the customer's facility.
Support all warehouse departments as directed by the Warehouse Manager and/or Assistant Warehouse Manager, including Receiving, Shipping, Order Picking, Order Packing, Inventory Control, Stock Away, Packaging, Kitting

Pay:
$18.50 per hour
