    Job Description

    Its L1 Network Field engineer role. JD is below

    Field Network Engineer

    Onsite in San Diego, CA

    Should be able to work a very fast pace environment. Handle multiple projects at once. Be able to work well under a highly stressful environment. Must have a Go Getter personality. Enjoy partnering with internal teams and providing operational direction and support in close collaboration with management and key stakeholders.

    Responsibilities

    Must be willing to rack and stack hardware

    Cisco devices such as Switches and routers, WAP

    Must be willing to rack/install UPS

    Demonstrate strong knowledge in configuring Cisco hardware i.e. switches and routers

    Collaborate with IT and Information Security to establish, monitor and enforce network access policies.

    Willing to perform site surveys for CoSD

    Must have reliable transportation, employee will be driving from location to location

    Must be able to carry a minimum 40lbs, climbing small ladders and or step stools

    Implementation and Troubleshooting of, Multi-layer switches, ISR/ASR routers and wireless networks (as required)

    Implementation and Troubleshooting of, WAN Optimizers, Load Balancers, firewalls, DNS/DHCP and VPN Gateways

    Knowledgeable in the use of monitoring tools like Solarwinds

    Maintaining Documentation Creating and maintaining SOPs/CMDBs/KEDBs/Run Books

    Identity and Access Management Implementation and troubleshooting of Cisco ACS, Cisco ISE, BYoD, Network Admission control

    Qualifications

    • 4+ years' experience as an IT Network field.
    Knowledge with Routers, Switches, and Firewalls.

    Understanding of TCP/IP, including; DNS and DHCP.

    Hands-on experience with Cisco network equipment.

    Strong performance tuning (QoS) and capacity planning, traffic analyzation experience.

    Experience with monitoring solutions such as Solarwinds

    Working Knowledge of wireless technology using Ruckus or equivalent service provider

    Proven track record identifying and championing appropriate new technologies; ability to quickly adapt changes

    A self-starter who can prioritize work in a fast-paced and dynamic tech environment.

    A team player who can collaborate across all departments and with all levels.

    Must possess good analytical problem solving and troubleshooting skills.

    Desired Skills

    Experience at multinational corporation dealing with network service providers

    Demonstrate strong critical thinking skill

    Work well in a team environment

    IOS upgrade/downgrades in CLI mode

    ROMmon Mode, VLans, SVI's, Subnetting, Subinterfaces, TACACS+, Tunnel Interfaces

    Troubleshooting all 7 Layers of OSI model

    VoIP Phones, VoIP, SNMP

    Automation and scripting

    Wireless access point installation
