The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor is responsible for managing a team of manufacturing engineers and providing technical solutions to a wide range of complex and difficult problems.
Responsibilities include:
Supervise a team of Manufacturing/Test Engineers.
Be accountable for all Manufacturing Engineering and Test support which includes electrical/mechanical/acoustic test, design manufacturing producibility, tooling, work instruction development and manufacturing floor/system integration lab support.
Initiate actions to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformance relating to product, process & systems.Train employees and champion training of manufacturing engineering personnel on new processes.
Routinely meet with systems test and engineering Executive Leadership, to build strong relationships, and advise and discuss program strategies and execution plans.
Determine and develop staffing profiles and schedules to meet program requirements.Implement process changes on existing equipment and assist with the development and installation of production expansion equipment in the assembly.
Ability to multitask, manage projects and build cohesive teams in order to meet targets and objectives.Qualifications:
BSEE/BSME from accredited college or university is required.
MRP/ERP experience.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an engineering leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
SolidWorks experience.
Good mechanical/electrical technical skills.
Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills.
Understanding of Engineering, Tooling, Production, Program Management and Government Subcontracts processes.
Experienced in dynamic environments where there may be schedule changes, design changes and validation failures.
U.S. Citizen
Salary Range:
$100,000 - $150,000 Considerations when extending an offer may include the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
