Description
The hospital in Euless, TX with 124 beds operates as main departments the clinics for general internal medicine and geriatrics, for trauma surgery, orthopedic surgery and general surgery, for plastic/hand and foot surgery, for orthopedics, for urology and anesthesiology, as well as the affiliated department for ENT medicine.
We are currently seeking employees (m/f/d) for the newly established ward secretariats in part-time with 20.0 hours per week.Requirements:
- Completed threeyear vocational training as a medical assistant
- Several years of professional experience, preferably in a hospital setting
- Excellent knowledge of common computer programs / ideally in hospital information systems (HIS)
- Knowledge of protocol writing
- Strong communication skills and assertiveness
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Conscientious and independent work ethic
Key responsibilities:
- File creation, management and finalization
- Administration on the ward in the discharge management process and contract management
- Communication with general practitioners and care facilities
- Office organization (e.g. filing, digitization of findings)
- Information services (e.g. intranet, directions)
- Interface between transcription service, coding and executive secretariats
