- Demonstrate strategies for category sourcing with sound knowledge of negotiation strategies and extensive experience in a similar role. Lower cost and raise profit margins to create a competitive advantage for the company
- Understanding the total Supply chain TCO including cost to serve, warehouse, and managing inventory carry cost while reducing balance sheet risk
- Manage the company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending
- Understand market drivers, pertinent indexes and their application to develop sustainable contracts and supply agreements
- Optimize sourcing procedures to attain maximum efficiency
- Cooperate with stakeholders to align terms and processes with demand
- Research and anticipate shifts in the negotiating power of suppliers
- Align supply base with company goals
- Perform cost analysis, benchmarking, develop saving goals for assigned categories
- Estimate risks and apply risk minimizing techniques
- Drive critical internal KPIs, leveraging Business Intelligence reports to make key decisions Establishing KPI's to measure suppliers' performance such as Lead-time, first time fill rate percentages and price variance to price book
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBR's) to ensure supplier compliance to contractual and supply agreement requirements
- Analyze and calculate procurement costs and develop cost reduction strategies
- Conduct market research to understand market drivers, as well as creating cost estimates and forecasts
- Maintain strategic sourcing relationships and developing strong partnerships
- Direct Supply chain activities to reduce Balance sheet Risk
- Perform other related duties as required
- Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration preferred or 5+ years of demonstrated success in supply chain
- Proven work experience as a Sourcing Manager or Procurement Manager
- Familiarity with sourcing, negotiating, and vendor management
- Understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgment
- Strong project management and leadership skills
- Ability to negotiate and sustain networking relationships
- Experience analyzing large data sets, interpreting the data and drawing conclusions
- Advanced ability to collaborate and negotiate
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities
- Willingness to travel to develop, promote, and maintain strategic sourcing relationships
- Sensitive to confidential information
- Must work independently and as a member of team
- Able to read, speak and write English.
- Interpret and make decisions in conformance with established policies and practices.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Excel, world, PowerPoint and Outlook and have prior experience.
- Able to work under stressful conditions at times.

- Position will require a minimum of 40 hours per week dependent on workload.
