As a sub-project manager, you will be responsible for planning and commissioning assembly technology and battery systems for the automotive industry in the field of mechanics in Millsap, TX.

You will act as the interface between our customers, suppliers, and internal departments, and play a key role in the successful technical and economic implementation of our customer projects.


Your responsibilities:

  • Ensuring timely, costeffective, and highquality project execution for the mechanical area of battery and assembly systems, including change cost management
  • Planning of assembly systems in the automotive and commercial vehicle industry
  • Developing quantity structures and participating in bid calculations
  • Preparing supplier inquiries, evaluating offers, and selecting and managing design offices and other subcontractors
  • Coordinating onsite assembly and commissioning phases at our customer construction sites
  • Creating project and process documentation
  • Acting as a point of contact for our customers and subcontractors

Your profile:

  • Completed university degree or technical training in mechanical engineering, vehicle technology, production engineering, industrial engineering, or a related field
  • Willingness to travel and good knowledge of German and English

Desired but not required skills:

  • Professional experience in bodyinwhite construction or the automotive industry
  • Ideally, experience with Catia V5 and/or Siemens NX
