    Minimum 1+ years intrepreter experience required.

    Seeking Sign Language Interpreter (SLI)
    Location: Acworth, GA
    JobType : Full-time
    Hours: 37.5/Week
    Caseload: 1:1 with High School Student
    Responsibilities:

    • Provide accurate interpretation services between students who use ASL and those who communicate verbally, ensuring clear and effective communication.
    • Interpret spoken language into ASL and vice versa, conveying messages accurately while maintaining the tone, context, and intent of the original communication.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Interpretation, Deaf Studies, Linguistics, or a related field preferred.
    • Certification or licensure as a Sign Language Interpreter (e.g., RID certification) preferred.
    • If noRID certification, then EIPA passing score of 3.5 or higher within the last 5 years.
