    Job Title: Manual Physical Therapist

    Job Type: Part-Time

    Thrive Integrated Physical Therapy is a leader in manual and functionally based physical therapy in the treatment of orthopedic and neurologic impairment. We believe that the best care is hands on, 1-on1 and centered around each patient's unique challenges. Our therapists have the time (1 Hour) to truly connect and partner with each patient and establish a holistic treatment program that fuses the latest in evidence based treatment methodologies. We are known for our partnership with referring medical teams, comprehensive evaluations, and getting to and solving for the root cause of dysfunction and pain.     About our Facility

    Thrive's downtown office is housed in a centrally located, recently renovated 3,000 sq. ft. loft in New York City's SoHo/NoHo district, a short walking distance to a host of subway and bus stations. Clinicians work in private treatment rooms with windows. The facility is wheelchair accessible for non-ambulatory patients as well. We offer our therapists treatment tools including Balanced Body Pilates equipment, BFR Rehabilitation, and other unique equipment.

    About the Position:

    This is currently a part time position that has the potential to evolve into a full time position within 6 months.

    We are looking for practitioners that can take on existing caseloads as well as new patient evaluation and treatment plans. The hours needed are Mon-Fri 2PM-7PM and Saturdays 9AM-1PM

    Position Responsibilities

    ● Assess and treat patients with a wide range of conditions considering the whole person and their goals

    ● Determine clinical diagnosis and develop comprehensive physical therapy treatment plans

    ● Maintain accurate, detailed and clear documentation in a timely fashion via EMR

    ● Communicate productively with referring MD and insurance companies

    ● Collaborate with the Thrive clinical team in support of a patient's case when needed to deliver the highest quality care

    ● Partner with the extended team of wellness professionals at Thrive - including clinical pilates and yoga professionals, acupuncturists and massage therapists

    ● Communicate effectively with the patient support team to deliver the highest quality patient-centered care experience

    Your Education, Training, and Experience:

    ● Master's and/or Doctorate degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program with a focus on manual therapy and motor control coursework

    ● Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state of New York.

    ● Minimum of 3 years of experience

    ● CPR Certification

    ● Prior knowledge of Mark Comerford- Kinetic Control, Diane Lee , Pain Science a plus

    ● Pilates Certification a plus

    We offer employees a benefits package including vacation, and continuing education. Additionally, after one year, you are eligible for profit-sharing and 401 K. Full time employees are offered a health insurance package. Lastly, we offer in-house training mentoring with a NAIOMT fellow, as well as continuing education stipend.
