    Description

    Org: FinTech

    Location: NYC (Fully remote USA setup)

    Role: Mid-Senior Software Engineer

    Salary: $120,000 to $150,000 base + Equity

    Org size: 10 people

    A fast-growing fintech company is seeking a highly skilled Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer to join its innovative team and contribute to the development of its core product. In this early engineering role, you will have the unique opportunity to work closely with the founders and shape both the company's direction and culture.

    Responsibilities:

    • Collaborate with the founding team to make foundational architectural and engineering design decisions.
    • Take ownership of product architecture and implementation
    • Contribute to product ideation and direction
    • Provide valuable input on incorporating offline processes into the product
    • Play an active role in shaping the engineering team as it expands, including participating in the hiring process and mentoring junior engineers

    Skills and Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline
    • 3-6 years of software development experience, preferably in fintech companies
    • Strong proficiency in full-stack web development, React, TypeScript,, and AWS (Amazon Web Services).
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with non-technical stakeholders
